ILLINOIS — An Illinois Lottery player won $50,000 in the Monday, Feb. 16, 2026, Powerball drawing after matching four numbers and the Powerball.
The winning numbers were 16, 18, 19, 56 and 58, with the Powerball number 6. The Power Play multiplier was 3x. The estimated jackpot for the drawing was $155 million, with a cash value of $72.5 million.
The $50,000 prize is awarded to tickets that match four of the five white ball numbers plus the Powerball. There was no immediate indication that the Illinois ticket included the Power Play option, which can increase certain non-jackpot prizes.
No ticket matched all six numbers to win the $155 million jackpot, meaning the top prize will roll over to the next drawing.
Lottery officials have not yet released information about where in Illinois the winning ticket was sold. Winners typically have a set period of time to claim their prizes under Illinois Lottery rules.
