VIRGINIA — A vehicle crash on Interstate 64 caused traffic delays in Richmond on Sunday evening.
The Virginia Department of Transportation reported at 6:03 p.m. that a crash had occurred on westbound I-64 near the Mechanicsville Turnpike exit.
According to VDOT, the left shoulder is closed as crews responded to the scene.
Motorists are advised to expect delays while the crash was being cleared. Additional details about injuries or the cause of the crash were not immediately available.
