LOUISIANA — An 18-year-old woman was injured Saturday night after gunfire was fired into a home on West Roosevelt Street, according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.
Officers responded to a call around 8:07 p.m. in the 1300 block of West Roosevelt Street. Police said the woman was inside the residence when an unknown gunman opened fire from outside the home.
The woman was grazed by bullets on the head and back. She was transported to a hospital and is reported to be in serious condition.
No information about a suspect has been released. The shooting remains under investigation.
