INDIANA — A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning on Indianapolis’ southeast side, police said.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 6200 block of South Arlington Avenue, near Edgewood Avenue, around 5:45 a.m. on Feb. 14.
When officers arrived, they found a vehicle that had crashed into a tree. Police said the driver, an adult male, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.
IMPD said traffic in the area would be affected for several hours while investigators worked at the scene. Drivers were urged to seek alternate routes.
The crash remains under investigation.
