VIRGINIA — Grayson County Public Schools will operate on a two-hour delay on Friday, Feb. 13, 2026.
School officials announced that all schools in the division will open two hours later than their normal start times. The delay applies to students, teachers and staff across the county.
While district leaders did not release additional details alongside the announcement, delays are typically issued to allow additional time to address road conditions, weather-related concerns or other issues that could impact safe travel for buses and commuters.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to plan accordingly for the adjusted schedule. Morning bus pickups will also run approximately two hours later than usual.
No other changes to the school calendar have been announced at this time. Families are advised to monitor official school communication channels for any further updates.
Any other closings and delays will be added as they come in.
