
FLORIDA — Tampa police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened late Wednesday afternoon.
Officers responded just before 5 p.m. to the 1900 block of West Green Street, where they found a man who had been shot. Tampa Fire Rescue attempted life-saving measures, but the man died at the scene.
Police said preliminary findings indicate the shooting was not a random act of violence. Detectives are working to determine what led up to the incident and to identify those involved. No suspect information has been released.
