PENNSYLVANIA — Light snow showers are expected to continue across parts of northwestern Pennsylvania through Thursday evening, according to the National Weather Service in Cleveland.
Forecasters say ongoing light snow will primarily affect inland areas of northwest Pennsylvania, where general accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are expected. Communities including Erie, Edinboro, Meadville and Corry could see totals within that range before the snow tapers off.

Elsewhere across the region, including areas farther south and east such as Titusville, snowfall amounts are expected to remain lighter, generally an inch or less.
The National Weather Service indicated that impacts from the snow are expected to be minimal. However, motorists should remain cautious, especially during periods of heavier snow showers that could briefly reduce visibility and create slick spots on untreated roads.
The light snow is forecast to persist into Thursday evening before conditions begin to improve.
