MARYLAND — A $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold in Maryland following Monday night’s drawing, lottery officials confirmed.
The drawing took place Monday, Feb. 9, 2026, with winning numbers 6, 19, 22, 28, 48, and the Powerball number 24. The Power Play multiplier was 5x. The Maryland ticket matched four of the five white balls but did not include the Powerball, resulting in a $50,000 prize.
No ticket matched all six numbers to win the jackpot, which was estimated at $113 million, with a cash value of $52.0 million, according to Powerball officials. With no jackpot winner, the top prize will roll over to the next drawing.
The specific retail location where the winning Maryland ticket was sold has not yet been released. Lottery officials remind players to sign the back of their ticket and contact the state lottery to begin the prize claim process.
The next Powerball drawing is expected to feature a larger jackpot as the prize continues to grow.
