KENTUCKY — Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred Sunday, Feb. 8, in McCreary County.
According to state police, troopers responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision on Wilburn K. Ross Highway near the 600 block in Stearns. Investigators said the vehicle, driven by 60-year-old Darrell L. Ball, left the roadway, overturned, and struck a tree.
Police said Ball was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation, and no additional details were immediately released by authorities.
