TEXAS — Laredo police arrested two people in connection with a stolen vehicle reported out of San Antonio earlier this week, authorities said.
According to police, officers located the vehicle Tuesday on Zaragoza Street after observing suspicious behavior from its occupants. A man and a woman were detained during the investigation.
The suspects were identified as 41-year-old Webb Buckner and 26-year-old Brandy Bankston.
Police said Buckner admitted to driving the stolen vehicle. He was arrested on multiple charges, including unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, failure to identify as a fugitive, unlawful carrying of a weapon with a felony conviction, and an outstanding warrant for a probation violation.
Bankston was arrested and charged with drug possession and hindering apprehension.
Both suspects also face charges for possession of a criminal instrument.
The investigation remains ongoing.
