PENNSYLVANIA — Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash after a man was found unresponsive early Sunday morning on a busy Pittsburgh roadway, authorities said.
According to a Pittsburgh Public Safety spokesperson, officers responded to a reported pedestrian crash around 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of East Carson Street and South 13th Street in the South Side Flats neighborhood.
When officers arrived, they were flagged down for an unresponsive man lying in the roadway. He was transported to a local hospital and was reported to be in stable condition.
Officials said the vehicle involved in the crash did not remain at the scene. No additional information about the suspect vehicle was immediately released.
The investigation remains ongoing.
