
KENTUCKY — A plane made an emergency landing Friday morning at Danville-Boyle County Airport, according to local officials.
Mike Mulholland, deputy chief with the Danville Fire Department, said the Cessna Citation aircraft was taking off from the airport when an issue occurred, prompting the pilot to bring the plane back down.
Four people were on board at the time of the incident. Officials said all occupants were able to safely exit the aircraft.
No injuries were reported.
Authorities said an investigation is underway to determine what caused the emergency landing.
