OHIO — A man was hospitalized following a shooting early Thursday morning in west Toledo, according to police.
Officers with the Toledo Police Department responded around 3:45 a.m. to a report of a person shot in the 3200 block of Dolores Avenue, near the intersection of Byrne Road and Dorr Street. Detectives at the scene said the shooting stemmed from an altercation between two men.
The victim, described by police as a male, was taken to a hospital for treatment. Authorities did not release the victim’s identity, age, or current condition.
Investigators were seen photographing both the interior and exterior of a home near Moran Avenue as part of the ongoing investigation. Police have not said whether any suspects are in custody or what led up to the altercation.
