OHIO — Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in locating a woman wanted in connection with an identity theft case in the Columbus area.

According to information released by Central Ohio Crime Stoppers, Michaela Cervantez is wanted on a charge of identity theft. Cervantez is described as a white female, born June 9, 1998. She is approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 115 pounds.

Crime Stoppers reports that Cervantez is known to frequent the south side of Columbus, Ohio. Authorities have not released additional details about the alleged offense, including when or where the identity theft is believed to have occurred.

Officials urge anyone who may have information about Cervantez’s whereabouts to contact Central Ohio Crime Stoppers. Tips can typically be submitted anonymously, and information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward.
