GEORGIA — A body was found Sunday, Feb. 1, in Mitchell County, and state authorities are now investigating the death.
According to officials, Keundre Stallings, 24, of Baconton, was found dead inside his mobile home located off Highway 19 North in Baconton.
Agents said an autopsy will be performed at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Crime Lab to determine the cause and manner of death.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is leading the investigation at the request of the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office. No arrests have been made, and the case remains open.
