GEORGIA — An 18-year-old woman was killed in a crash near Rocky Ford on Feb. 2, according to the Screven County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office identified the victim as Keiana Wisner, of Statesboro. Authorities said icy road conditions likely contributed to the crash, which resulted in her death.
The sheriff said the fatal crash was one of multiple accidents reported in Screven County following a winter storm that moved through the area. On the same morning, deputies also responded to another crash in which a vehicle driven by a pregnant woman slid off the roadway into a ditch.
No additional details about either crash were immediately released. The incidents remain under investigation.
