
KENTUCKY — A man and a woman were found dead late Sunday night in what authorities are investigating as a murder-suicide in northern Kentucky.
According to the Pendleton County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called around 11:18 p.m. Sunday to a home in Pendleton County for a welfare check. When deputies arrived, they found a man and a woman deceased in the yard of the residence.
The investigation was later taken over by the Kentucky State Police. State police identified the woman as 40-year-old Camille McClanahan, who was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound. The man was identified as 50-year-old James Hall, who was also found dead from an apparent gunshot wound that investigators believe was self-inflicted.
Kentucky State Police said the case remains under investigation by detectives with KSP Post 6. No additional details have been released at this time.
