KENTUCKY — One person was killed in a head-on crash Sunday evening in Northern Kentucky, according to the Kentucky State Patrol.
Troopers said they responded to the crash around 7:30 p.m. on U.S. 42 East. Investigators determined that a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by a 20-year-old man, was traveling westbound when it crossed the center line and struck a 2023 Ford Bronco that was traveling eastbound.
The driver of the Ford Bronco, Iveth Salgado Calderon, 24, of Warsaw, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Gallatin County Coroner’s Office, according to state police.
Authorities have not released information on whether the driver of the Chevrolet Silverado was injured. It is also unclear at this time whether charges will be filed. The crash remains under investigation.
