
KENTUCKY — Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear announced Saturday that two additional people have died as a result of Winter Storm Fern.
The announcement was made shortly before 10 a.m. Saturday through a post on social media. According to Beshear, the latest fatalities include a 73-year-old man in Ballard County and a 64-year-old man in Hart County.
With these two deaths, the total number of fatalities linked to the January winter storm in Kentucky has risen to 14.
State officials continue to urge residents to use caution during winter weather conditions and to follow safety guidance as recovery efforts continue across affected areas.
