PENNSYLVANIA — Authorities are investigating an attempted robbery that led to a police pursuit Friday afternoon in Washington County.
According to Washington County Dispatch, police were called to a Waffle House in the 200 block of Murtland Avenue in South Strabane Township at approximately 12:48 p.m. for reports of an attempted robbery.
Dispatchers said reports of a police chase on Interstate 70 were received just moments after officers responded to the restaurant.
Authorities said the pursuit was terminated in Washington County around 1:40 p.m. It is not yet clear whether the chase resumed in a neighboring jurisdiction.
No additional details about suspects, arrests, or injuries have been released as the investigation continues.
