
OHIO — A Dayton man is in custody following a drug investigation that led to the seizure of a large quantity of methamphetamine in Allen County.
According to the Allen County Sheriff’s Office, investigators with the West Central Ohio Crime Task Force received information that 37-year-old Gregory Napier was in the area with the intent to distribute methamphetamine.
Deputies located Napier in Jackson Township and began an investigation in coordination with task force officers. Authorities said the investigation resulted in the discovery of approximately two pounds, or 907 grams, of methamphetamine, along with $1,010 in cash.
Napier was taken into custody and booked into the Allen County Jail. The sheriff’s office reported that he is facing a charge of aggravated possession of drugs, greater than 100 times the bulk amount.
The case remains under investigation. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
