GEORGIA — A school bus was involved in a crash Monday morning near Pine Barren Road in Pooler, according to authorities.
The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System confirmed that no students were on the bus at the time of the crash. District spokesperson Sheila Blanco said the bus driver and a bus monitor were not injured.
Blanco said the driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash had to be extricated from the car and was transported for medical treatment. The extent of that driver’s injuries was not immediately known.
The Pooler Police Department is investigating the crash. Additional details were not immediately available.
