OHIO — A 21-year-old man was found shot to death inside an apartment building in Akron on Sunday evening.
According to the Akron Police Department, officers were called to an apartment complex in the 400 block of Sherman Street around 6:50 p.m. After arriving at the scene, officers located the victim lying in a stairwell with multiple gunshot wounds.
The man, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 7:10 p.m.
Police said no arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing. Authorities are asking anyone with information related to the shooting to contact the Akron Police Detective Bureau at 330-375-2490 or submit tips anonymously by calling 330-375-2TIP.
