
TENNESSEE — A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Friday morning in Dyer County, and authorities say winter weather conditions were a factor.
According to the Dyer County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a crash on Fort Hudson Road near Highway 211 in Dyersburg during the early morning hours of Jan. 24. When deputies arrived, they found that the male driver had died at the scene.
The sheriff’s office said the crash was caused by hazardous winter weather conditions. The driver was 33 years old, but his identity has not yet been released.
The crash remains under investigation.
