ILLINOIS — A rollover crash involving a semi-truck shut down Interstate 74 eastbound in Vermilion County early Saturday morning, and the roadway is expected to remain closed until about noon, authorities said.
According to the Illinois State Police Troop 7, troopers were called around 6:30 a.m. to I-74 eastbound near milepost 199 in Fithian for a report of a single-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck that rolled over in the roadway.
Officials said no injuries were reported at the scene. However, the crash caused the eastbound lanes of I-74 at that location to be closed to traffic.
State police said eastbound traffic is being diverted at the Ogden exit at milepost 196. The roadway is projected to reopen at approximately noon Saturday.
