ILLINOIS — The victim of a fatal rollover crash in Morgan County Friday evening has been identified as a 15-year-old, authorities said.
In a Facebook post Saturday morning, the Morgan County Coroner’s Office identified the person killed as Adelisa “Addy” Rose Johnson, 15. Officials said there were no updates on the condition of the three other occupants who were injured in the crash.
According to the coroner’s office, the single-vehicle crash happened around 6 p.m. on Jan. 23 at the intersection of Mt. Zion Road and Gravel Springs Road. The vehicle was traveling east when it left the roadway and rolled over.
Authorities said Johnson, who was a backseat passenger, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday.
The crash remains under investigation by the Illinois State Police and the Morgan County Coroner’s Office. No further information was immediately available.
