INDIANA — One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 65 in Johnson County early Saturday morning, according to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said they were called to the crash around 5:40 a.m. on Jan. 24 on I-65 northbound at the 90.8 mile marker, near State Road 44. Authorities reported that the driver was the only occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver’s identity has not yet been released. The Johnson County Coroner’s Office will make the official identification and release that information at a later time.
Interstate 65 remains open to traffic, though investigators were still working on the right side of the roadway Saturday morning. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
