
PENNSYLVANIA — Thousands of Pennsylvania residents are without electricity as cold weather continues to affect parts of the state, according to the latest outage data from PowerOutage.com.
As of the most recent update, approximately 2,396 customers were reported without power statewide out of more than 6.7 million customers tracked. While outages were relatively limited statewide, several counties experienced higher concentrations of power disruptions as freezing rain and icy conditions impacted utility infrastructure.
Centre County reported the highest number of outages, with 684 customers without electricity. Lancaster County followed with 389 outages, while Philadelphia County reported 343 customers affected.
Montgomery County had 286 outages, and Pike County reported 179 customers without power. Additional outages were reported in Wayne County with 112 customers affected. Berks and Erie counties each reported 76 customers without electricity.
Residents are urged to exercise caution when traveling, avoid downed power lines, and prepare for potential power disruptions while utility crews work to restore service safely amid hazardous weather.
