
FLORIDA — Deputies are investigating a deadly overnight shooting that occurred Wednesday night in Orange County, authorities said.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. on Moselle Avenue near Old Cheney Highway and Semoran Boulevard. When first responders arrived, they found a man in his 30s who had been shot.
The victim was transported to a hospital, where he later died. His identity has not been released.
Deputies said a suspect was detained in connection with the incident. Authorities also confirmed there is no ongoing danger to the community.
Detectives with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under active investigation.
