
NORTH CAROLINA — A lottery ticket sold in North Carolina matched all the winning numbers in Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing, securing the jackpot prize.
The winning numbers drawn on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, were 11, 26, 27, 53, 55, with a Powerball of 12. The Power Play multiplier was 2x. Lottery officials confirmed the jackpot-winning ticket was sold in North Carolina at West 10th Mart on West 10th Street in Roanoke Rapids.
Wednesday’s jackpot was estimated at $209 million, with a cash value of $95.3 million. The winner will have the option to take the lump-sum cash payout or receive the prize through annual payments over time, as allowed by lottery rules.
With the jackpot now claimed, the estimated prize for Saturday’s drawing resets to $20 million, with an estimated cash value of $9.1 million.
