OHIO — Police in Warren are investigating a reported incident in which two students said they were threatened with a gun at a bus stop last week.

According to the Warren Police Department, the incident was reported to police on Thursday by a parent, but allegedly occurred Wednesday at about 2:40 p.m. at the intersection of North Park Avenue and Roosevelt Street NW.

The parent told police that her two children, who attend Warren G. Harding High School, reported that a handgun was pulled on them at a bus stop. According to the police report, the students were standing outside when another juvenile approached them wearing a black mask, removed a handgun from his jacket, and pointed it at them.

The report states that the suspect then pulled down his mask and told one of the victims that he heard they were “hollerin,” referring to comments made on the bus involving other students and the victims. Both students ran from the area, and no injuries were reported.

Police said a report was taken and filed, and the incident remains under investigation.
