ALABAMA — Officers with the Atmore Police Department are investigating a shots-fired incident that occurred Monday night.
According to a post from the police department, the incident happened just after 9 p.m. Jan. 19 in the area of Ashley Street and Carver Avenue. Authorities said two victims were receiving medical treatment following the incident. No information was released about the extent of their injuries.
The Atmore Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division, Crime Scene Unit, and Narcotics/Vice Unit are all assisting with the investigation.
Police have not released details about a suspect or what led up to the shooting. The investigation remains ongoing.
