FLORIDA — Deputies in Orange County are searching for a suspect following a double stabbing at an office building on Lee Road Monday night that left one woman dead and another person critically injured.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the scene just after 9 p.m. and found a woman suffering from significant injuries. She was transported to a nearby hospital, where she later died from her wounds.
A second victim was also taken to a hospital and remains in critical condition, authorities said.
The stabbing occurred during a large gathering inside the office building, which is located near Adanson Street and west of Interstate 4. Investigators have not released details about what led up to the attack or whether the victims and the suspect were connected to the group gathered inside the building.
The sheriff’s office has not released a description of the suspect, and the names of the victims are still being confirmed. The investigation remains ongoing.
