OHIO — Shaker Heights police say three people were taken into custody early Monday morning following a shooting that left a 22-year-old woman injured.
The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. near the 3000 block of Warrensville Center Road, according to police. Investigators said the woman was shot while inside a vehicle. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Her condition has not been released.
Officers detained a 33-year-old man from Cleveland and a 29-year-old woman from Cleveland Heights in connection with the incident. Police also took into custody a 32-year-old woman from Shaker Heights who is believed to own the vehicle where the shooting occurred. The vehicle was impounded as part of the investigation.
