
GEORGIA — Two men were arrested Saturday night following a reported burglary in Brunswick, according to police.
The Glynn County Police Department said officers responded at approximately 9:54 p.m. to a burglary in progress at Georgia-Pacific Wood Products. While searching the area, officers located one suspect running between two buildings. Police said the suspect was apprehended with the assistance of a K9 unit.
Authorities later found a second suspect hiding behind a nearby building.
Police identified the suspects as Jeffery McKinney, 48, of Baxley, and Marshall Latimer, 37, of Gainesville. McKinney was charged with burglary in the second degree, obstruction or hindering law enforcement officers, and possession of tools for the commission of a crime. Latimer was charged with burglary in the second degree and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
The incident occurred in Brunswick. The investigation remains ongoing.
