
VIRGINIA — A man was injured in a shooting Saturday night in southeast Roanoke, according to police.
The Roanoke Police Department said officers were called to the 2100 block of King Charles Avenue SE at approximately 11:21 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from gunshot wound injuries.
Police said the victim’s injuries were not considered life-threatening. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The shooting occurred in Roanoke. Authorities have not released information about a suspect or what may have led to the incident.
The investigation remains ongoing.
