VIRGINIA — Roanoke police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead and another critically injured early Sunday morning.
According to the Roanoke Police Department, officers responded at approximately 1:33 a.m. on Jan. 18 to reports of gunfire in the 200 block of Williamson Road SE. When officers arrived, they found two men in a parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police said one man was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
