ALABAMA — A portion of Apple Grove Road in Morgan County was closed after authorities found a person lying in a ditch, according to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said the person was discovered in the 2000 block of Apple Grove Road in the Union Hill area. Authorities believe the individual may have been struck by a vehicle.
The person was receiving medical treatment, though no additional information about their condition was immediately released.
Officials asked drivers to avoid the area or expect traffic delays as the situation is investigated.
