
OHIO — Two people were arrested Wednesday during a drug-related investigation conducted by the Stark County Sheriff’s Office in Canton.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies executed a search at a residence in the 800 block of McGregor Avenue NW in Canton. During the operation, two individuals were taken into custody.
Authorities said Daylin Daniels, 25, was arrested and charged with a parole violation. A second individual, Nijoel Ellis, 27, was charged with receiving stolen property.
During the search, deputies reported seizing three firearms, one of which was confirmed to be stolen. Investigators also recovered cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms, and an undisclosed amount of cash.
The Stark County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation remains ongoing and additional charges against the suspects may be filed.
