WISCONSIN — A Powerball ticket sold in Wisconsin won a $100,000 prize in Wednesday night’s drawing, according to lottery officials.
The drawing was held Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026. The winning numbers were 6, 24, 39, 43, and 51, with the Powerball number 2. The Power Play multiplier was 2x. The Wisconsin ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball and included the Power Play option, increasing the prize to $100,000.
Officials with Powerball said the winning ticket was sold at a Wisconsin retailer, though the specific location had not yet been released.
No ticket matched all six numbers to win the jackpot, which was estimated at $179 million for the Jan. 14 drawing. The cash value option for the jackpot was approximately $80.8 million.
The prize must be claimed through the Wisconsin Lottery within the required claim period. Lottery officials remind winners to sign the back of their ticket and consider consulting financial professionals before claiming large prizes.
