FLORIDA — A fatal crash involving two semi-trucks shut down a portion of State Road 60 on Wednesday afternoon, according to law enforcement officials.
Authorities said the collision occurred at approximately 2:37 p.m. near Peavine Road. Two semi-trucks were involved in the crash, which resulted in one confirmed fatality. The identity of the person who died has not yet been released, as officials are still working to establish identification.
The cause and circumstances of the crash remain under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol and other responding agencies. Troopers have not released additional details about the victim or the events leading up to the collision.
