
OHIO — A Morgan County man is celebrating a major lottery win after scratching off a $250,000 top prize on an Ohio Lottery ticket.
According to the Ohio Lottery, the winning ticket was a $5 Jackpot Party scratch-off purchased at the Malta Drive-Thru, located at 12 Seventh St. in Malta. The winning ticket was sold earlier this month.
After mandatory state and federal taxes totaling 26.75 percent, the winner will take home $183,125, lottery officials said.
The Jackpot Party game offers players the chance to win more than $23 million in total cash prizes, with overall odds of winning set at 1 in 4.18. As of Jan. 13, 2026, six top prizes remain available in the game.
