INDIANA — Multiple law enforcement agencies arrested a 26-year-old man Tuesday morning on Indianapolis’ east side during a coordinated operation led by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
The arrest took place in the 3300 block of Tacoma Avenue, near Keystone Avenue and 34th Street. Authorities said the man had an active warrant issued out of Hamilton County related to drug charges.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department and the Indiana State Police assisted in the operation. Homeland Security officials said their agency is leading the investigation.
