
SOUTH CAROLINA — Two people were taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Horry County on Sunday afternoon, authorities said.
According to Horry County Fire Rescue, crews were called to the crash just after 3 p.m. The collision occurred near the intersection of South Highway 701 and Highway 19 in Loris.
Fire rescue officials said the crash blocked multiple lanes of traffic in the area while crews worked at the scene. The extent of the injuries to the two people involved was not immediately released.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. No additional details were available.
