
OHIO — Two men were injured Friday night after being struck by a vehicle in New Carlisle, and authorities are searching for the driver involved.
According to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 10 p.m. on Jan. 9 to a report of two pedestrians struck by a car near the 300 block of Prentice Avenue. When deputies arrived at the scene, they found two adult men suffering from what were described as minor injuries.
Investigators said the incident stemmed from a domestic disturbance complaint, during which the two men were struck by a vehicle. Details about the disturbance and the circumstances leading up to the collision have not been released.
Both men were transported to Miami Valley Hospital for further medical evaluation. Their current conditions were not disclosed.
The driver of the vehicle left the scene and has not yet been located. The sheriff’s office said the driver could face criminal charges, depending on the outcome of the ongoing investigation.
