KENTUCKY — One woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash early Friday morning in Christian County, according to authorities.
In a social media post, Hopkinsville Fire/EMS said crews responded to the collision shortly after midnight in the 1000 block of Skyline Drive in Hopkinsville.
First responders said the crash involved a head-on collision that occurred directly in front of Hopkinsville Fire Station No. 2. One of the drivers, a 40-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Christian County coroner.
The second driver involved in the crash was not injured and declined medical treatment or transport by EMS, officials said.
The Hopkinsville Police Department will lead the investigation into the cause of the crash. No additional details were released as of Friday.
