SOUTH CAROLINA — One person was killed Wednesday morning following a crash on White Horse Road in Greenville County, according to authorities.
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office said the crash occurred around 6:15 a.m. in the area of 1139 White Horse Road.
Officials said a tractor-trailer was backing into a parking lot off White Horse Road when a pickup truck struck the side of the trailer. Video from the scene showed the tractor-trailer was a Sherwin-Williams truck.
The driver of the pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
The crash remains under investigation.
