
NORTH CAROLINA — A Havelock man is facing multiple felony drug charges following the execution of a search warrant at his residence, according to the Havelock Police Department.
Police said officers were investigating the sale and delivery of illegal narcotics when they executed a search warrant Tuesday, Jan. 6, at the home of 33-year-old Sam Manning Jr. The operation was conducted with assistance from the Craven County Sheriff’s Office and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation.
As a result of the investigation, Manning was arrested and charged with three counts of felony possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule II controlled substance, one count of felony possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule VI controlled substance, one count of felony maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances, and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Authorities said Manning was issued a $50,000 secured bond. His first court appearance is scheduled to take place in Craven County.
