
ALABAMA — Mobile Police Department officers are investigating a shooting that left one person injured Monday night.
According to a department news release, officers were called to South Buena Drive just after 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 5 after receiving a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived at the scene, they learned that the injured individual had already been transported to a hospital. Police said the victim suffered minor injuries.
Investigators said the shooting followed an argument involving someone the victim knew. No additional details about the suspect or the circumstances of the argument were released.
The incident remains under investigation.
