GEORGIA — A Powerball ticket sold in Georgia won a $50,000 prize in the Monday, Jan. 5, 2026 drawing, according to lottery officials.
The winning numbers drawn Monday night were 4, 18, 24, 51, 56, with Powerball number 14. The Power Play multiplier was 2x. The Georgia ticket matched four white balls and the Powerball to secure the $50,000 prize.
No ticket matched all six numbers to win the Powerball jackpot, which was estimated at $88 million for the drawing. The cash value option for the jackpot was approximately $39.8 million.
Details about where in Georgia the winning ticket was sold and the identity of the winner have not yet been released. Lottery officials remind winners to sign the back of their ticket and contact the Georgia Lottery to begin the prize-claim process.
The Powerball jackpot will roll over to the next drawing, giving players another chance at the growing prize.
